Intervaltraining

For intervaltraining, the exercises are split into sessions with a high intensity and sessions with a low(er) intensity. For instance, interval running can mean running as fast as you can for one minute, followed by 3 minute walking to recover.

A resistance interval training can mean lifting weights for 30 seconds and 15 seconds rest. Interval training is useful for varation in an exercise program, as a means to increase results or for reaching a specific goal.
