My Pregnancy Journal - Week 39

SHE'S HERE!!!LITTLE BABY
DEMI IS HERE!!
So just when I was screaming at my poor husband that he should REALLY
be doing something about our walk in closet, contractions started. As my
first labor went superfast I decided to call my midwife immediately. She
came over and asked whether I wanted to do a home birth or hospital and
I opted for hospital, because my first was a preemie, and I like to have
things nearby just in case something else goes wrong. Besides, our house
is in such a mess I really wanted to go to the hospital.
Labor started at 6 pm and around 11 pm my daughter was born. Labor
was uhm, unpleasant, and much more painful than my first, it is
definitely not true that seconds are easier than firsts. But I am so
happy that it is over!!
