Fitness History
During my second year of law school, I became somewhat pudgy (puffy face,
tummy, clothes became way too tight)! So at the age of 23 I became a client at
the FIRM. I took classes a minimum of 4 times a week, and the results were
amazing. Not only did my body shape and tone improve, but also my entire
attitude was better. That was 16 years ago, and I swear by the fitness routine
at the FIRM.
Nutritional Secret
If you go to a fast food restaurant, order a hamburger (not a cheeseburger)
and make sure it does not include mayonnaise, or even better get a grilled
chicken sandwich with no mayonnaise. Never eat anything that is full of fat and
calories if you don't really like it - save those high calorie intakes for the
foods you love!
On the weekend, I really love going out to dinner, and I allow myself to enjoy
it and order what I want, but I make sure I don't get "too full" - that makes me
feel really bad!
Secrets for beginners
The most important secret tat I tell anyone who asks me is to GET STARTED NOW
AND STICK WITH IT - you will never regret it, but if you don't start now, you
will regret not taking the opportunity as soon as you became aware of it. No
matter what your age, the secret to geting and staying in shape, keeping
healthy, feeling good, and looking good in you clothes is to adhere to the FIRM
workout.
Favorite FIRM exercise
Leg Press, using the FIRM Fanny Lifter. At first, I really hated this one
because I found it to be so tough when I did it correctly. This exercise works
the gluteals and hamstrings really well, and also increases your heart rate for
cardiovascular benefits. Stick with this one - it really does give great
results!
