Merchandise section.
Nowadays there are plenty of different materials and styles on the
market.
Cotton
Cotton is good for every skin type, breathes and absorbes moist which
prevents rashes and keeps you cool during heat. Disadvantage is that it
looses it's shape soon and looks bleached and worn very quickly.
Nylon, polyester, acryl
Dries quickly, keeps its shape and color. But the fabric does not
breathe and can be woven so tightly that you will get hotter and hotter
because body heat and sweat have no way out.
Spandex and lycra
Spandex and lycra improve the elasticity of the material. Your outfit
feels like a second skin and gives a light support.
Coolmax
Coolmax let's the skin breath dries quicky. It absorbs the moist from
the body. Stays cool during heat and prevents itches and rashes. Keeps its
color and shape.
There is no formula that indicates the best individual choice. A
combination of cotton/lycra or coolmax/lycra gives the best quality for an
outfit. Quality clothing is usually more expensive, but cheap clothing is
not alway the best choice. Eventually, you'll pay more money for a whole
load of cheap clothes that have lost their color or shape.
Shopping Tips
- Check the seams.
- If you decide to buy a suit, check the model and the shape. Some
suits have a sown in bra, if not, check to make sure that your own bra
can be worn underneath it.
- Make sure leggings and shorts do not slip down, and that the legs of
shorts do not come up when moving.
- Don't buy too small, make sure there is enough room to move. Outfits
that are too tight make you look fatter and impede blood circulation,
freedom of movement and give weak spots in the material.
Wash after each use, because sweat and oil can damage the material.
Follow the washing instructions on the labels. Treat stains with a mixture
of white vinegar and water or water to which two tablespoons of soda are
added.
